The chances of me playing a p2p game is 0 in infinite, so WoW and AoC are out of the question, WoW I wouldn't play if I had the chance even. I've seen my friend play AoC and while it does have some really cool stuff like the different ways u can attack still didn't seem the organized, but then again I only saw my friend play it so can't be to sure about my judgment. When I got bored from GW I started looking for some other MMOs, when I came across some and saw how crappy they are compared to GW that made me enjoy guild wars soooo much more.

Actually I lie..even if they nerf ursan i wont come back. They screwed GW big time.
Lol that post made me laugh the ole "if they nerf this I might come back then realize just because they nerf one skill isn't going to change the lack of content and character progression and phat loot anyways. Come play some PVP AB though that's till fun. I get my dances on sins and rangers heads fix everyday still. It's always fun to dance on a dead ranger or sins head.

And on the brighter side we are just a couple of months away from great games like "SPORES" and "DIABLO III" and and.....oh that new Total War Game they been workin on....Empires? I think it is? Oh and Starcraft II is close as well. You know I STILL have Starcraft the origional in a shrink wrapped package...I never opened it or played it. lol

I have nothing left to do, and recently if there's been noone online I've not stayed. I love to help other people from my Alliance & Friend List with things, and I find that is all that I need to hold my interest. If people suddenly stopped wanting help I would probably find myself playing much much less.

Helping newbies is fun - kinda reminds you of the "good ol' days" when you didn't know much and allows you to live through classic moments with newer players and see their reactions.

Yes there are, some guilds continue their high level of activity even at this time. We still have a full guild with nobody afk >1 week, and 90+ members logged on in the past 24h. We continue our old tradition of at least one elite area run per day (we had 3 last nite ). And I can tell you, our members are very busy and most continue to spend a few hours a day playing GW. I would advise you to look for a new guild or a new group of friends at least. Unfortuantely at this time we are not taking any new recruits in LOD.

Ursan made me hate people for being complete tools not knowing basics of game like aggroing, pulling, positioning, teamwork and such (all that after many months playing the game), and still succeeding at elite areas.

You don't wanna be hardcore player. You expect elite game areas to bow to you. Im sorry, but this is an utter communist crap. You already have maxed weapons and armor... what else do you want? According to your logic everyone should start game character with lvl20 plus fow armor, stack of ectos and r6 koabd in their pockets.

Well luckly not everyone is like you. I play this (or any) game for fun and challenge. I don't want any of this autowin crap. I want defeating something in PvE to actually mean something, rather than being a routine farming. I'm sorry, I already have a job in real life, I don't need another one. I want to play the game, if you don't - you can get the hell out.

I think it's safe to say your response went from calm and reflected to i just knocked up your daughter. Seriously what the hell was that response about?

Well anyway. Of course I think all players should start the game with crystalline swords, 250 ectos and 12 mini ghosts. That's exactly what I said in my post isn't it. I also condonded suicde bombings aswell. Not sure why you didn't pick up on that.

Let me reiterate in more detail my point. Ursan in my opinion was a game finisher for us all. Allowing the poor player a good opportunity to wrap up guild wars. As Guild Wars is coming to a close. What does it matter if everybody was suddenley given pet pands or crystalline swords. But no, the majority of posters are the same posters who whined and cried that their game was being butchered with this addition. Poor players were obtaining ranks that the better players had struggled hard to get. The injustice!

So now anet has to 'fix' ursan and act like they had no idea how it would effect the game.

There is no more expansions in Guild Wars.
Everything has been wrapped up.
Guild Wars is coming to an End.

Long live Guild Wars 2.

(for the record i can play and i dislike PUG's due to the bad players)

Well the game wasn't designed to have months and months of content like mmo games do. Though players want it to be that way hence part of the reason why we are getting Guild Wars 2. Problem is that Guild Wars 2 was announced way too early thanks to the Hall of Monuments in my opinion. People are expecting new content which doesn't seem to be happening right now and the wait for Guild Wars 2 is a long one. Best thing to do is just take a break and comeback when you are ready. I think the wait for Guild Wars 2 will be worth it but the journey there is a long one indeed.

Just uninstall it. GW2 won't be out until late 09' or perhaps even mid 10', so there's no use waiting around. Get another good game and just relax. Everyone is getting bored of GW, even those who "find something new and exciting everyday!". Farming is pointless, HoM is pointless, grind is pointless. Don't let yourself fall into grinding for titiles, just leave the game and shop around for some new ones.

Not interested, happy with my guild tbh, and we are still active, our alliance has just shit the bed on us.

Frankly, if they don't figure out that they need to keep the people playing happy and give us some new content in this game I don't know if any one will be here to play GW2.

Why do they need to keep people playing right up to the second that GW2 goes live?
People arn't going to forget about GW2 if they stop playing GW1. It is ok to play other games while waiting for GW2, you don't have to sit inside GW1 twidling your thumbs waiting for something to happen.
I know if I stop playing GW until GW2 was released I would still buy it.
